Musculoskeletal Radiology

Muscle, bone, ligaments, tendons and other tissues in the body contribute to movement. These tissues are examined using various imaging techniques including x-ray, ultrasound, MRI and CT.

Muscle images may show abnormalities such as tears or lesions. Bone images may show fractures or tumors. Ligaments and tendons may be weak or have knots or kinks. MRI can show blood vessels and nerves. CT can detect organs inside the body.
