Multiple myeloma

Myeloma is a plasma cell neoplasm characterized by the uncontrolled proliferation of plasma cells in the bone marrow. The disease can result in destruction of the bone marrow, skeletal deformity, and kidney damage. Symptoms may include fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, and recurrent infections. Treatment typically includes chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy.
