Multi-level Marketing

Multi-level marketing, or MLM, is a business model where companies sell products or services through a network of independent distributors.

Distributors typically receive a commission for selling the company’s products or services, and are required to recruit new distributors to keep the network actively growing.

MLMs have been criticized for being pyramid schemes, in which participants are paid to recruit other participants rather than to sell products or services.

However, there is no evidence that MLMs are actually pyramid schemes.
