Rydberg Formula

The Rydberg Formula is a mathematical equation that helps explain the spectral lines of atoms. It was developed by Swedish physicist Johannes Rydberg in 1888, and it describes the relationship between the electron configurations of atoms and the frequencies of their spectral lines.

The Rydberg Formula is still used today to calculate the wavelengths of light emitted by atoms.
