Reverberation is the result of sound waves reflecting off of surfaces and then recombining with the original waves. This creates a delayed and often enhanced version of the original sound.
Reverberation can be used to make a room seem larger or to create a more intimate setting. It can also be used to cover up unwanted sounds or to disguise someone’s location.
