Rectilinear motion is a type of linear motion in which an object moves in a straight line.
This type of motion is often used in physics to describe the movement of objects in a vacuum, or in other situations where there is no friction.
In order for an object to move in a straight line, it must have a constant force applied to it. If the force is removed, the object will either stop or change direction.
