Propensity Score Matching

Propensity score matching is a method used in statistics to match patients who have similar characteristics (e.g., age, sex, race, income) to help improve the accuracy of medical research studies.

Propensity score matching is based on the idea that if two groups of patients have similar characteristics, then the patients in each group should be more likely to share those characteristics than patients in different groups.
