What is the Labour Force Survey?
The Labour Force Survey (LFS) is a monthly survey that collects information on the employment and unemployment of people in Britain. It is one of the most important sources of economic data in the UK and is used to track changes in labour market conditions.
The LFS is a nationwide survey, with interviews conducted in every county in England and Wales.
