Kolmogorov Continuity Theorem

The Kolmogorov continuity theorem in statistics states that, for a continuous probability distribution, the probability that a random variable takes on any particular value in a certain interval is the same no matter how large or small the interval is.

This theorem is often used to help characterize distributions and to make predictions about what values a given random variable will take on.
