Hodges–lehmann Estimator

The Hodges lehmann estimator is a procedure for estimating the parameters of a model, which is used in statistics.

The estimator is named after Walter E. Hodges, who developed it in the 1950s.

The estimator is based on the idea that the variance of a parameter estimate can be decomposed into a component due to within-sample variability and a component due to between-sample variability.
