General Linear Model

A General Linear Model is a tool used in statistics that allows for the prediction of outcomes from a set of input data.

It is a linear model that contains at least one “dependent” or “linear” variable (i.e., an outcome that can be predicted based on the values of other variables in the model), and at least one “independent” or “nonlinear” variable (i.e., a variable that does not affect the prediction of the outcome).
