Fractional Factorial Design

Fractional factorial designs are commonly used in statistics to test hypotheses regarding the relationships between variables.

The design can be divided into two parts: the fractional part, which is the number of factorials to be tested, and the fractional part within each factorial, which is the number of replications of a particular factor. The design is also known as a block design or a factorial block design.
