Fisher’s Linear Discriminator

Fisher’s Linear Discriminator is a model used in statistics to discriminate between two classes of data. It is named after the British statistician R. A. Fisher.

The model uses a linear predictor to determine how much each observation in a dataset deviates from the population mean. This allows the discriminator to determine which class a given observation belongs to.
