Exploratory data analysis (EDA) is a methodological tool used in statistics that allows researchers to explore relationships between variables.
It can be used to answer questions such as: what do the variables of interest tend to co-occur with? how do the variables of interest vary across different groups? EDA can also be used to improve the accuracy of hypotheses generated from statistical models.
