The coefficient of dispersion (COD) is a statistic that is used to measure the variability of a set of data. It is calculated by taking the standard deviation of the data set and dividing it by the mean of the data set.
This gives you a measure of how dispersed the data is around the mean. A higher COD indicates more variability in the data set, while a lower COD indicates less variability.
